Our ten-electrode kit is the right mix for science fairs! Includes: carbon rod electrode (one); nickel electrode (one); copper, iron, zinc, aluminum electrodes (two each). The electrodes are 4" x 3/4" each except for the 4" carbon rod. They feature a large surface/mass ratio.
4" electrodes with chemical symbols are sold separately in packs of 10 (zinc is a pack of 5).
2" electrodes are available in copper and zinc, sold inspanidually.
Our 665-0300 Complete Student Cell is a safe, sturdy kit. You can build a voltaic, coulometer, dry, or Daniel cell. The polypropylene 8 oz. cell has a low profile and wide base; porous cup; 8 labeled electrodes: copper, zinc (2 each) and, iron, aluminum, nickel, carbon rod (one each). Screw-on plastic rim has 2 brass electrode holders. Includes instructions.
The 665-0200 Daniel cell comes with the top ring and bracket to be used on your own jar. It comes with one copper electrode, one zinc electrode, and two aligator clip leads.
We also offer the porous cup separately to upgrade an existing kit (or to replace a broken one).
