This trainer uses IC 555 timer to pulse an infrared Led. This IC is connected as an astable multivibrator (oscillator) that has a frequency determined by RFC Values. The battery charges capacitor C1 through Resistor R1. When push button is pressed, the Direct Current (DC) charge is applied to the input of the IC causing it to pulse the infra-red LED for about 1-sec. This pulse is actually a series of light pulses occurring in the 1-sec time inferred. Frequency if the pulse is determined.

When used with the TX-01 Encoder motherboard, RE-99 receiver board and RE-01 decoder mother board. This generates 4 bits of data providing about 16 different codes 8 bits of address ensures that data sent from this transmitter are passed on to the RE-01 data o/ps, and all stray are rejected.
