Antworks Ant Habitat / Antfarm

Simply insert ants into the translucent nutrient gel, secure the lid and let the 3-D tunneling show begin! Either collect your own ants or order a colony to be delivered to your home. (ordering details included in packaging).

The AntWorks habitat is filled with a highly nutritious non-toxic gel into which you prod little starting point holes in the AntWorks gel to get the tunnel network started. Now get out into the garden or park and catch about 15 ants to populate the colony, or just have them delivered to your home for $3.00 from www.antsalive.com with the enclosed order form. Put them in the AntWorks, replace the lid, and watch as your ants create their AntWorks mini empire. Within days the ants will burrow out an amazing pattern of channels, each clearly visible in cross-section through the walls of the container. Besides providing a safe ecologically-correct habitat, the gel also provides the ants' food and water. Maintenance is minimal. You simply need to open the lid for a moment every now and again to aerate the interior of your AntWorks habitat and occasionally clean the top of the AntWorks Habitat.

Insect Pitfall Trap
