B.O.D. Incubator is the most versatile low temperature indicator for Biochemical Oxygen Demand determination . Castor wheel mounted cabinet is double walled with inner chamber of anodized aluminium or stainless steel and outer casing of M.S. sheet duly painted. The gap of 75mm between the outer and the inner wall is filled with special grade glass wool to prevent thermal losses. Tripple walled back of the unit is fitted with two air circulation fans for maintaining the temperature uniformally throughout the chamber. Heating elements of nicrome wire are placed in the air path and are duly insulated from the body. The inner chamber is ribbed for placement of shelves at desired heights. full view inner glass door permites inspection of specimens, without disturbing the same. Lock and key arrangement is provided in the double walled outer door. Unit is fitted with door operated illumination lamp inside the chamber. The temperature range from 5?C to 50?C is controlled by Digital Temperature Controller cum Indicator. Refrigeration unit is formed by hermetically sealed ISI marked SHRIRAM make compressor and the cooling coil are distributed all round the chamber and lie in the air circulation path. Panel consist of seperate indicator lamps for mains, heating and incoming voltage. Supplied complete with 2/3 shelves, cord and plug to work on 220/230V A.C. supply.

TEMPERATURE RANGE : ambient to 70?C ? 1? C . Temperature controlled by Hydraulic Type Capillary Thermostat.

HEATING : Heating elements are made from high grade (Kanthal ISI) Resistance wire. Heaters are fitted/wound along all sides & bottom. Complete with 2 pilot lamp cord & plug pin etc.

Light weight with ceramic fibre wooled insulation (instead of brick insulation). The outer casing is made of double walled thick P.C.R.C. sheet, reattached with thick perforated sheet on the bottom portion, painted wit attractive stove enamel. Heating elements are made of KANTHAL "A-1" wire and backed by high temperature cerwool insulation, which avoids loss of energy. Temperature control unit consists of Energy Regulator, fitted in front of furnace with two pilot lamps. The apparatus is complete with one pyrometer, thermocouple, silver thermal fuse, main lead with power plug. To work on 220/230 volts or 400/440 volts A.C.. The energy regulator dial is arbitrarily marked 0-100 position. This marking does not indicate temperature. It indicates control level i.e. at Position "100" maximum electricity is allowed to flow to the furnace. At position "0" minimum electricity is flow to furnace. Maximum Temp. is 950?C and working Temp. 900?C. For model of higher temperature the maximum Temp. is 1200?C and working temp. 1100?C.

Ceramic fibre insulated, with chamber made of high density ceramic fibre board. The furnace is heated by heavy duty transformer unit. control panel is provided with heavy duty controllers. Digital type Temp. Indicator-cum-Controller. Complete with PT/RT thermocouple. Maximum Temperature range up to 1400?C but maximum working temperature 1300?C.
