Biology and Chemistry of Soil Kit

For 50 students.
Conduct a thorough evaluation of soil with ordinary soil samples your students can dig up anywhere. We introduce simple, easy-to-follow techniques and staining procedures early on so your students can get the most out of these activities. Soon they're able to identify the type and variety of microorganisms, calculate soil fertility by a cation exchange capacity elimination, test and determine soil pH, and correlate the soil's pH to soil lime requirements.

Distance Measuring Trundle Wheel

Measure great distances with our top quality trundle wheel. This distance counter features a 30cm rubberized wheel. The unit will fold down to be carried in its included soft bag. The five digit counter will light up with a flip of a switch on the handle to illuminate the numbers in low lighting.

Sampling Square, Fold-Up

Quantify the results of your field study with our folding sampling square. This plastic device cleanly and quickly marks off either a quarter meter square (0.25 meter squared) or a full meter square (1.0 meter squared) on land or in water. It snaps open with a durable shock cord inside the PVC legs. Connections are made with T-connectors which allow the frame to sink in water. Collapsible for transport and storage. Comes with instructions.

Shaker Sieve
